My Painting

aku -Kaban, Dec 2011
The painting is headdress of Karonese's man, named "bulang-bulang", made from a "Beka Buluh" a Traditional Clothes.

My Painting & Sarune with the backdrop: Beka Buluh
Sarune (aerofon double-reed) is Karonese Traditional Musical instrument.

Beka Buluh used in the ethnic group's culture of Karo, Indonesia. Characterised the culture, and and generally was red as the sign of courage. A man ussually wear this cloth as headdress or on trilateral-form put on shoulders at wedding ceremonial.
